WEST SPRINGFIELD - Carole Ann (Vogel) DiStefano passed away with her family by her side on April 12, 2022 at the age of 76. She was born to the late Edward Vogel and Irene (Kozlowski) Vogel in Springfield.  Carole was married for 55 years to the love of her life and caretaker until her final breath, Richard DiStefano. She earned her special place in heaven as the proud Mother of three (3) sons – Anthony (Dawn), Lucien (Amy Roy) and Christopher (Kristen). Her final legacy is her clan of seven (7) grandchildren – Jessica, Peter, Alexander, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Gracie and Noah. She also leaves her sister Marlene (Vogel) Chamberland. Carole completed her associate degree as a Paralegal and enjoyed a successful career in the legal field and West Springfield Public Schools. She deeply enjoyed spending time with friends – especially her "Beachie Grove" crew. But as much as she loved the beach, shopping and cooking – her most treasured place was home with her family as a wife, mother and grandmother.
