Carole V. Hilts

West Springfield – Carole V. Hilts, 83, died peacefully Monday evening in Baystate Medical Center. Carole was born and raised in Springfield. She married her husband Barry Hilts and moved around the country as a Navy wife and later resided in East Longmeadow and Southwick before recently moving to West Springfield. She was a member of the Springfield Wesleyan Church. She leaves her loving husband Barry Hilts; three children Christine, Cinda and Kenneth; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a great great grandson. She was the sister of Richard, Harold, Leslie, Bruce, Earl, Clair, and Judith. A private graveside service will be held at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery with a public service in the future.
