Carolyn P. M ^c Mordie, 88, of Mansion Woods died Tuesday in Leavitt Family Jewish Home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Saxtons River, Vermont, on October 31, 1928 to Edith (Phelps) Paddock and Elmer A. Paddock.  Family later moved to West Springfield where she attended schools. Married to William J. M ^c Mordie in 1949.  There were blessed with 60 years together. She leaves their son, John W., three granddaughters, Sarah, Laura and Allison and their mother Cheryl M ^c Mordie. Also, leaves her sister-in-law Ele Paddock of West Springfield, brother-in-law Woody Evans of Wilmington, NC, and godson Jeffrey Houle of Southwick.  Also, a special niece Cheryl Patton, nephews Mark Paddock, Gregg Paddock and R. Todd Paddock and friends extraordinaire Helen Monko.  She was predeceased by her husband in 2009, her parents and her brothers Arthur & Robert Paddock and sister Arlene Evans. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of West Springfield.  In lieu of flowers, gifts to the First Baptist Church memorial fund would be appreciated. The memorial service will be Saturday at 11 am in First Baptist Church. Curran-Jones Funeral has been entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be private.
