Catherine L. Phaneuf

1938 – 2023

Titusville, FL – Catherine (Elsden) Phaneuf, 85 died peacefully Thursday evening, August 17th, at home.  Catherine was born in Ludlow, grew up in Indian Orchard and lived in Hampden before moving to Florida in 1998.  She worked as an auditor for the State of Massachusetts for many years.  A communicant of St. Mary's Church in Hampden and Blessed Sacrament during her time in Florida.  She leaves her loving husband Donald Phaneuf, a daughter Janice Visconti and her husband David and a granddaughter Jordan Visconti.  Sadly, she was predeceased by her son Mathew and grandson Jake Visconti.  A graveside service will be held in St. Aloysius Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 31st at 1:00pm.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Children's Neuroblastoma Foundation (cncfhope.org)
