Charlene M. Soverow
1955 – 2013

AGAWAM – Charlene M. Soverow, 57, of Castle Hill Road died Wednesday in Mercy Medical Center. Charlene was born in Springfield the daughter of the late Walter and Rita (Maynard) Soverow and has lived in Agawam all her life. She was a 1973 graduate of Cathedral High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from Our Lady of the Elms College in 1977. She was a 5th grade teacher at the Roberta G. Doering Middle School and also taught at the Catherine Danahy and James Clark Schools in Agawam. She was an avid reader and loved the Red Sox, spending time at her Cape house and dinner with friends. She leaves a brother Walter C. Soverow Jr. of Washington D.C. Family and friends are invited to attend the Liturgy of Christian Burial Saturday, April 20th at 9:00am in St. John the Evangelist Church followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. For more information please visit curranjones.com.
