Springfield-Charles Frederic Weidig was born on 2/13/31 in New Haven, CT. He proudly served in the US Army from 1952-1960. He worked in the Steel industry until he retired as the Vice President of Concord Steel Corporation in 1994. He married wife Elizabeth in 1959 until her death in 1998. He married wife Francesca in 2002. Charles is survived by his wife Francesca of Springfield, Ma, son Roger from Surfside Beach, SC, brother David from Palmyra, VA, 7 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and in laws. Predeceased by wife Elizabeth, son Robert, daughters Lynne and Wendy, and parents Herman and Audrey. Services will be held on Tuesday 8/25 at 10:30am at Bethany Assembly Of God located at 580 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001.
