Obituary

Chase M. Glidden, 30, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday July 18 th .  Chase was born on March 16, 1988 in Holyoke, MA. He was born to Caroline Quinlan and he was a 2007 graduate of East Longmeadow High School. Chase was a genuine kind hearted, loving person who's presence and personality made everyone feel happy and at ease. Chase truly lived his life to the fullest through spending time with his family and friends. Chase enjoyed barbeques, the outdoors and playing video games with his wife, brother, sister and nephew. Chase was also very artistically talented. In his younger years he was a member of the Young Marines Scuba Diving Team based out of Westover Air Force Base. He was an avid swimmer and made it to All State Competition representing East Longmeadow High. Chase fought a long, courageous battle with cancer. Chase is survived by his devoted wife Alexa Del'Acqua-Glidden, his loving mother Caroline Quinlan, his brother and best friend Jordan Quinlan, his loving sister Amanda Glidden and nephew Jordan Quinlan Jr. There will be a Celebration of Life service for Chase Saturday July 21, 2018 at Mt. Tom at 12 noon and at Stanley Park on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 12 noon. His committal service at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield will be Monday July 23, 2018 at 11 am.
