Chi C. Chen, 94, died Monday at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Shanghai, China and grew up on the campus of the University of Shanghai where his parents were Professors. After coming to this country he was employed at Plastic Coating Corp., Strathmore Paper and Rising Paper where he was Technical Director. He was a longtime member of the Orchards Golf Club and was a very accomplished skier. He leaves his wife Sydney C. (Stack) Chen and his brother Eugene Chen of Kansas. He was predeceased by his sister Dr. Wei Mai Zhou. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
