Christopher L. Kantianis, 58, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 25, 2026 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Chicopee, son of the late Leo and Gail (Thompson) Kantianis, he was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. Christopher had worked at J Polep and was a navy veteran. He was an avid sports fan of all New England teams and enjoyed playing pool. He leaves a daughter, Melanie Kantianis of Southwick, a brother, Mark Kantianis of Chicopee, a sister and her husband, Candy Kantianis and Michael Drisdelle of Feeding Hills, and his former wife, Margaret (Olczuk) Kantianis of Southwick. A chapel service will be Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 3pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. The Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
