Family, friends and strangers today is the day when we remember Christopher Michael Mackechnie. Son, big brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, Fiancé and friend, he loved and protected all those around him. With a heart bigger than life and a hand he would lend to anyone, he was the truest kindest soul to know. He filled a room with his smile, his laughter was contagious and had the ability to make you feel safe. His passions were those of the outdoors, four wheeling, hiking and snowmobiling which brought him peace, a place he now finds eternally. It is not those he leaves behind but rather those he loved. His mother Selene Lattanzio, sister Ryan-Lyn Mackechnie, nephew Carter Matthews, grandparents William and Irene (Smith) Lattanzio, Fiancé Tina Godin and her two daughters, Uncle and Aunt Bruce and Joyce Mackechnie, cousins Todd and Jeff Mackechnie along with their families and Lewis Ingham. It's important to include the many life time friends he's made, he was so thankful for everyone. Look and feel for him when you need strength, ask for him to surround you with love and always know he is no farther than beside you. CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
