Claire A. (Hall) Morris, 82, of East Street went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday at home. Claire was born in Springfield the daughter of Harry and Grace (Grimes) Hall and has been a life long resident of the city.  She was a self-employed beautician for many years.  She was predeceased by her husband Jacob D. Morris in April. She leaves a daughter Melene Holmes and husband David of East Springfield; a sister Therese Wyatt of North Carolina and three grandchildren Sarah and Greg Malchesky and Jeremy Whetzel and wife Erika and two great grandchildren.  The funeral will be held Monday at 10 am at the Bethany Assembly of God Church, Main Street, Agawam followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral in the church from 9 to 10 am. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to Dakin Humane Society.
