Obituary

Claudio Cardaropoli, 69. God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and he whispered, "come to me." Claudio passed away 2/19/2021. He was born in Bracigliano, Italy, son of the late Luigi and Annunziata (Ferrentino) Cardaropoli.  He was a graduate of Western New England College and spent many years managing real estate properties.  Claudio was happiest when spending time with his family. He also loved hunting with his favorite cousins, poker games with his good friends, attending classic car shows, and watching reruns of his favorite TV shows. He leaves his wife Linda (Bachta) Cardaropoli, his daughter Annunziata Cardaropoli and her partner Gabe Parent, his sons Claudio Cardaropoli and his partner Theresa Borecki, Johnathan Bachta and his partner Ariana Becker, and Edward Bachta and his partner Kelsey Rouleau.  Two brothers Attilio Cardaropoli, with whom he shared a close bond, and knew would always be there for him, and his wife Rosemarie, and Vincenzo Cardaropoli and his wife Sharyn; his beloved grandchildren Angelina, Tatyana, Jacob, Claudia-Maria, Claudio-Daniel, and Kailani. Claudio also leaves behind his former wife and close friend Winifred Cardaropoli; his lifelong best friend Cousin Mario Ferrentino, his nephews, nieces, favorite cousins, and good friends. Claudio's family would like to thank the Agawam paramedics and police, the doctors, and nurses at Mercy Medical and PACE for their kind and compassionate care. They would also like to thank family members for frequently making him his favorite Italian meals, it meant a lot to him.  Family and friends can meet at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Springfield Friday February 26 th at 11:00 am for the funeral Mass followed by burial in Agawam Center Cemetery. Walk through calling hours at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home will be Thursday February 25 th from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
