WEST SPRINGFIELD – Clifford L. Waldron Sr., 53, of South Boulevard died Friday at home. Clifford was born in New Haven, CT, son of Anna R. (Allen) Waldron and the late Harold F. Waldron Sr. He grew up in Old Saybrook and has lived in West Springfield for the past 19 years. He was a Taxi Driver for Yellow Cab and Metro Cab for many years. Clifford was a diehard New York Yankees and Giants fan. Besides his mother he leaves his wife Sharon L. (LaRose) Waldron; four sons Harold of Southwick, Clifford Jr. of West Springfield, Alexander of Orlando, FL, Lonnie of Chicopee; twin daughters Melinda of Knoxville, TN and Melissa of Chicopee. He also leaves four brothers Robert, Harold, Timothy, Stephen; two sisters Anna Rodriquez and Greta Waldron and five grandchildren Kimberly, Hayleigh, Tia-Marie, Clifford III and Aayala. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
