Colleen Marie (O’Connor) Dalton, 83 passed away Tuesday July 14, 2026 at her home comforted by her daughters. She was born in Springfield on September 26,1942 the only daughter of the late Francis and Niobe (St. Marie) O’Connor. She was educated in Agawam schools and was a graduate of Howard School in West Bridgewater, MA and Westfield State College. Colleen was a substitute teacher in Agawam schools and worked as a swimming instructor for the Agawam YMCA. An avid bridge and card player and a lifelong golfer, she was a member of The Springfield Country Club for over fifty years and was Club Champion several times. She was a volunteer in the Agawam Athletic Association where she coached girls soccer, basketball and softball. Colleen was a 9 gallon blood donor at Mercy Medical where she also volunteered in the gift shop. She ushered at the Majestic Theater for several years and volunteered during the Big E for the Agawam Lions Club food concession. In 1976 along with her parents, founded Graphic Printing Company in Agawam and later moved the business to West Springfield where she worked until her retirement in 2008. She leaves two daughters. Renee Bradford and her husband Jeffrey of Florence, SC, Deborah Roe and her husband Adrian of Dublin, CA, three grandchildren, Erin Nichols, Austen and Madeline Roe, and a great-grandson, Caden Nichols. The family would like to thank Baystate Health Hospice for their incredible compassion and personal care, especially Andrea who, without her help and guidance, would not have been able to care for Colleen in her home. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 9:30-10:30am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church at 11.
