Corey Rose Camossi
1997 – 2015

West Springfield – Corey Rose Camossi, 17, died unexpectedly January 21st. Corey was born in Holyoke and lived in West Springfield her entire life. She was a student at Minnechaug Regional High School and loved to swim, ice skate, and to spend time with her family and friends. And although she never spoke a word, her voice and thoughts could always be heard. Her gentle spirt will live on in those who has the privilege of knowing and loving her. She leaves her sister Carly Camossi; mother Lisa Camossi; and Lisa's partner Tim Driscoll; grandparents Bart and Anna Camossi; uncle Mark Camossi; aunt Lori Welch; cousins Stephanie Welch, Addison and Taylor Camossi; many loving caregivers. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home THURSDAY at 10:30am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visiting hours will be MONDAY from 4:00-7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Multicultural Community Services of Pioneer Valley who provides support services to children and young adults who are medically fragile.
