Craig Bartish, 61, of Palmer died Friday September 2, 2022 in the beautiful island of Saint Maarten, one of his favorite places in the world. Craig, son of the late Edmund and Cecilia Bartish, was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on December 19, 1960. Raised in Springfield he graduated from High School of Commerce. He founded his own business as a young man that he has ran successfully for the past thirty plus years. Craig particularly enjoyed his many friendships, traveling, a love of nature, food and gardening. In addition to his parents, Craig was predeceased by a brother, Guy and a daughter Allison. He is survived by his wife Laurie, three children, Brian, Katelyn and Nicholas, along with three sisters, Donna and her husband Steve, Debbie and her husband Tom, and Sandy and her husband Rich. Craig was a genuine and loving soul that we lost far too soon, he will forever live on in our hearts. Visiting hours for Craig will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home on Sunday, September 18th from 2:00 – 5:00pm. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 19 ^th at 10:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church (Please meet at the church).  His burial will be private.
