Daniel R. Guiel, 56, died Tuesday surrounded by his loving family.  Danny was born in Springfield, the son of Sandra (Gumlaw) Guiel and the late Ronald Guiel.  He graduated from West Springfield High School and has lived in West Springfield his entire life.  He was a retired self-employed auto repairman.  He was baptized at Mittineague Congregational Church. Danny was also a big motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of the Longrider's Motorcycle Club and will be missed greatly by many brothers and sisters as well as extended family in the motorcycle community.    ROCK THE HEAVENS BROTHER SHINY SIDE UP ALWAYS! LFFL .  He leaves his wife "the love of his life" Cheryl (Simpson) Guiel; daughters Alisha Simpson and Christina Guiel, sons Joshua Fitzpatrick, Anthony and Philip Guiel; five grandchildren Cesar, Anthony, Skyler and Wyett Diaz and Levi Daniel Simpson; his mother Sandra Guiel; his sisters Laurie Guiel Ashe and her husband Russell and Wendy Guiel as well as many other nieces and nephews.  Besides his father, Danny was predeceased by a brother Steven.  Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00pm.  (All Covid-19 restrictions will be in place)  For more details or online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
