Danny M Sigler, 73, of Springfield passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Roy and Ruth (Tucker) Sigler. Danny was predeceased by his four brothers, all of Kentucky. He leaves behind his beloved wife Cheryl (Cote) Sigler, his two sons Deejay and Daniel Mackie both of Springfield, and his grandson Branden. He also leaves many loving relatives and friends including his sister-in-law Donna Sigler and nieces of Kentucky. His family is grateful for his caring home healthcare providers from Amedisys. Danny was a Vietnam Veteran who served two tours. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He retired from Rice Packaging in Ellington, CT as a rule die maker. Danny loved taking trips with his family including The White Mountains of New Hampshire, Cape Cod, and Yankee Candle to name a few. Danny was an avid reader and a great source of information. A Funeral service will be held for Danny at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral home at 10 am on Thursday March 11th. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service from 9 to 10 am. A committal service will follow the funeral service at 11 am at the Massachusetts Veteran's memorial cemetery in Agawam.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Danny's name can be made to the American Lung Association and the American Heart Association.
