David W. Bennett, 59, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 19, 2022 at home.  Born in Cheshire, he grew up in West Springfield and lived in Chicopee for over thirty-five years.  He worked as a landscaper for PACE Cooperative.  He loved fishing, was a sports enthusiast, loved the Boston Red Sox and the Patriots.  He loved animals and volunteered at a soup kitchen and animal shelter in Chicopee.  He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Joan (Tatro) Bennett. He leaves a brother, Daniel H. Bennett of Westfield, two nephews, Daniel F. Bennett of South Deerfield, Christopher E. Bennett of Greenfield, three great-nephews, Jack Bennett, Brady Bennett, Walter Bennett and a great-niece, Olivia Bennett.  The funeral will be Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 at 7pm at the West Springfield Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street.
