David A. Bruso
1963 – 2012

Warren - David A. Bruso, 49, of Sarty Road died Saturday in UMass Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke the son of Richard Bruso and the late Lois (Negrucci) Bruso and grew up in West Springfield before moving to Warren. He co-owned with his father Bruso Liquor Mart in Ware and Palmer. Prior to the Liquor Stores he and his father worked for Stamford Wrecking Company in Stamford, CT and he also worked for a short time at Baystate Fuel Company in West Springfield. He was a 1981 graduate of West Springfield High School, a huge New York Giants Fan, and on occasion, enjoyed going to the casinos. He also loved to watch the birds from the windows of his house. Besides his father David leaves his wife Diana L. (MacGillivary) Bruso; two sons Christopher and Jacob Bruso; a daughter Amanda C. Bruso; three brothers Richard Bruso Jr., Daniel Bruso and his wife Holly and Michael Bruso and his wife Holly. David also leaves his beloved dog Roxanne and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, including Donna, with whom he worked for many years. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4:00-7:00pm.
