SOUTHWICK - David R. Herbele, 86, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Born in Westfield, son of the late John and Eva (Angell) Herbele, he grew up in Westfield and has lived in Southwick for many years.  David was a retired printer for Sterling Press in Westfield.  He was an Air Force veteran in the Vietnam War, the Cuban Missile Crisis and was also in the Air National Guard.  He was a member of the Masons and Christ Lutheran Church in Southwick.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Herbele, Kenneth Herbele, and four sisters, Thelma Yaple-Greenleaf, Adeline Crabb, Doris Tomasini and Minnie Herbele. He leaves his wife of fifty-three years, Theodora P. "Teddi" (Siniscalchi) Herbele, a son, David Mark Herbele of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, two daughters, Lynn Solek of Southwick, Dawn McBride of West Springfield, a brother, Robert Herbele of Westfield and four grandchildren. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-5pm at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street with a Funeral Service at 5pm. The burial is private.
