West Springfield-David Perry, 58, died Tuesday May 12 ^th at home. He was born in West Springfield, son of the late Richard and Constance (Heiden) Perry and lived here all his life. He was a graduate of West Springfield High School and worked at Valley Machine Knife for over 35 years. David loved all animals, especially his cat Shadow. He was a big fan and collector of all things Star Trek. He leaves two brothers Richard Perry, Jr., of Cheshire and Kyle Perry of West Springfield, his sister Valarie Rafus of Westfield and his niece Jennifer Perry. A graveside service will be held at Paucatuck Cemetery at a later date. West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
