David A. Prairie

1957 – 2019

SPRINGFIELD – David A. Prairie, 62, died Wednesday at Baystate Medical Center. David was born in Holyoke, grew up in South Hadley, lived in Agawam before moving to Springfield in 2009. He was a 1975 graduate of South Hadley High School and worked for the Carpenter's Union #108. David was a longtime member of Bethany Assembly of God Church, where he sang in the choir and went on many mission trips. He loved fishing, skiing and golfing. He leaves his wife Bonnie (Bohaker) Prairie; three sons Adam and Shawn Prairie and Peter Maccarone; a brother Michael; sister JoAnne Prairie, three grandchildren; Chance, Madison and Jake and nieces and nephews Kate and Chris Prairie and Becka and Will Goldman. The funeral will be held at Bethany Assembly of God Church in Agawam Saturday August 10 at 11:00am. Visiting hours will be held at the church prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
