David Bruce Uschmann, 78, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 3, 2025.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Edward and Alberta (Bondi) Uschmann, he grew up in Agawam and was a 1964 graduate of Agawam High School.  He played semi-pro ball for the Holyoke Knights.  He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.  David lived in Florida for many years where he worked as a linesman for the Florida Light & Power Company.  He moved back to Agawam in 2010 and recently to West Springfield.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Frederick Uschmann and Edward Uschmann.  He leaves a brother and his wife, Robert W. and Linda Uschmann of Feeding Hills, two sisters-in-law, Mary Uschmann of Springfield, Patricia Uschmann of Feeding Hills, and nieces and nephews.  Chapel service Friday at 2pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
