David G. Vershon

1960 – 2024

Agawam – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David G. Vershon.  David was born in Springfield on September 6, 1960, grew up in West Springfield and later moved to Agawam.  David graduated from West Springfield High School and went to school to become a machinist.  He worked for many years for local machine shops and eventually opened his own shop in Agawam.  David loved NASCAR, traveling and the Boston Bruins.  He was an avid collector and animal lover, especially his dog "Bo".  David leaves his loving wife Denise (Bressette) Vershon; three stepchildren, Christian DiLuzio, Jennifer Jerusik (Peter) and Eric DiLuzio, two grandchildren Damien DiLuzio and Rachel Jerusik. He also leaves two sisters Maureen Duquette (Donald) and Christine Vershon; a brother Paul Vershon (Betty) and many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents George L. Vershon Sr. and Mary (Harrison) Vershon, two sisters Kathleen Laberge Delaney, Florence Hebert, her husband Richard, a brother George L. Vershon Jr., his wife Beth Carras and a sister-in-law Bernadette Bressette. All services will be private, and the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
