Derek J. St. Martin, 52, died Wednesday at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He grew up in West Springfield and attended West Springfield High School. He was the IT Manager for Southworth Company for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved snowmobiles and ATVs. As his son Scott said, he was a true D.A.D. (Delightful man, Awesome person and Dedicated to his family). He leaves his wife Cheryl (Deyesso) St. Martin, his daughter Corinne St. Martin and his son Scott St. Martin, all of West Springfield, three sisters Diane St. Martin of Epping, NH, Nancy Hosmer and husband Stephen of Chester, NH and Jean Biuso and husband James of West Springfield, brother Robert St. Martin and wife Kathryn of Wilbraham and several nieces, nephews and cousins including Kevin Zerbato, who has been like a brother all of their lives. He also leaves his beloved German Shepherds Jaxx and Bella. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home.
