Diane K. Messier

1958 – 2020

SPRINGFIELD – Diane K. (Griswald) Messier, 61, died peacefully at home Monday morning.  Diane was born in Ludlow and has lived in Springfield her entire life.  She worked at Red Rose Restaurant and Dunkin Donuts for a short time before dedicating her efforts into raising her family.  She was active with the Raymond A. Jordan Senior Center.  Diane leaves a daughter Irene Messier and her partner Philly Nero; two granddaughters Tiffany and Katyln Nero; a sister Sandra Lamb;  and her former husband Gary Messier.  Sadly, Diane was predeceased by another daughter at a young age, Pauline Messier.  A family funeral will be held at a later date.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  Donations may be made to the family, c/o Curran-Jones, 109 Main St. West Springfield, MA 01089.
