Diane M. (Chicketti) Quaglini, 85, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Janusz) Chicketti, she grew up in the Hungry Hill section of Springfield. She was a 1958 graduate of the High School of Commerce. She moved to West Springfield in 1958. After nearly 50 years of working, Diane retired as the office business manager for Sol’s Tire Service in West Springfield. Prior to moving to West Springfield, Diane worked at the Liberty Branch for the Springfield Libraries. She carried her love for books and reading thoughout her life and cherished the time she spent reading to her granddaughters. She was on the Board of Directors of the Work Opportunity Center. She was actively involved with the West Springfield, Ma UNICO, Baroco Corporation, and numerous activities for special needs individuals. She was predeceased by two daughters, Sandra Quaglini, Lisa Quaglini, her former husband, Paul Quaglini, and her sister, Josephine Raimer. She leaves three daughters, Vicki Arnold of Agawam, Karen Gamelli of West Springfield, Donna Anderson and her husband, Peter of Russell, a brother, Michael Chicketti of Holyoke, three grandchildren, Hilary Anderson, Amelia (Anderson) Monczka and her husband Tyler, Aubrey Gamelli and her fiancé, Jason Pope, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many wonderful friends. Diane will be remembered as a warm, loving, proud, mother and grandmother, whose kindhearted and exceptional personality left an everlasting impression on everyone she met. Her family and friends will forever miss her earthly presence, but will carry forward the memories and love that she shared so generously. Friends are invited to meet on Friday, September 4, 2026 for Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Jericho House, 537 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield.
