WEST SPRINGFIELD – Dolores G. (Roy) Jones, 88, died Tuesday surrounded by her loving family at the Governor's Center in Westfield. Dolores was born in South Hadley, grew up in Holyoke, and lived in Springfield before moving to West Springfield 40 years ago. She was a 50 year employee at Buxton and later worked at CheckWriters for 12 years. Dolores' biggest joy was her family and friends, she loved to cook, clean and shop. Her first husband Raymond A. Bordeau died in 1971 and her second husband Howard Jones died in 2000. She leaves her children Jody Ulasewich and her husband Donald, Gary Bordeau, Shari Yergeau, Randy Bordeau and his wife Diane, and Howard Jones and his wife Mary-Jo; nine grandchildren Todd and William Ulasewich, Adam and Taylor Yergeau, Jared, Jesse and Danielle Bordeau, Jason Bonatakis and Geoffrey Jones and her three great grandchildren Alexander, Allison and Robert Ulasewich. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and her best friend Peggy Galvin. Besides her husbands, Dolores was predeceased by a grandson Aaron Bordeau and her four siblings Raymond and Fred Roy, Yvonne Mackay and Millian "Babe" Posnick. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 9:00am with Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10:00am followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery in Chicopee.
