Dolores J. (Castelli) Vinesett, 94, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 18, 2026.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Silvio and Alma (Ferrero) Castelli, she was a lifelong resident of Agawam and a 1949 graduate of Agawam High School.  Dolores worked at the former Zayre and Ames Department stores in Agawam.  She enjoyed knitting, baking, reading, bowling, Bingo, trips to Atlantic City and puzzles.  She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a former communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church.  She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Vinesett in 1987, a son, William J. Vinesett in 2009, a daughter, Nancy J. Vinesett in 2019, a brother, Robert Castelli in 2010, and a step-great-grandchild, Megan.  She leaves a son and his wife, Michael J. and Lee Vinesett of Blandford, a daughter and her husband, Susan J. and John Morassi of Feeding Hills, seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, William, Nicholas, Samantha, Elizabeth, Scott, two great-grandchildren, Trystin, Brennen, a step-great-grandchild, Katlynn, and nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Friday from 9-10:30am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 11.
