Fogg
October 3, 1930 – January 31, 2022
Donald C. Fogg, 91, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 31, 2022 at home. Born in Springfield, son of the late Charles and Edith (Cignoni) Fogg, he was a 1948 graduate of Springfield Technical High School and moved to Agawam in 1962. Donald worked for forty-two years at Smith & Wesson, retiring in 1991 from their Research & Development department. Donald was an active member of the Elm-Belcher Lodge of Masons, the Shriners Melha Temple and the Agawam Congregational Church. He was an army veteran of the Korean War and an avid hunter. Donald built an A-Frame cottage on Webster Lake which provided a lifetime of great memories for him and his family. Donald leaves his wife of sixty-two years, Elizabeth M. (Norcross) Fogg, two sons, Alan D. Fogg of Indiana, Brian L. and his wife Katherine Fogg of Proctorsville, VT, a daughter and her husband, Donna M. and Anthony Moccio of Montgomery, NY, a sister and her husband, Joan and Bruce Ferrier of Charlton, MA, six grandchildren, Samuel Fogg, Dominic Moccio, Matthew Fogg, Nicholas Moccio, Nathaniel Fogg, Lauren Moccio and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main Street followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 or to Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001.
