Donald P. Hatch, 81, died Tuesday at home surrounded by family. Donald was born in Boston and has lived in West Springfield for the past 34 years. He graduated from Babson College and worked for the State of Massachusetts as a Bus and Railroad Inspector until his retirement in 1999. He also served in the United States Navy. He leaves his partner of 30 years Linda McNulty; her daughter Terri McNulty and Terri's son Christopher. He also leaves a niece Siri Jackson-Wood, two nephews Eric and Niles Jackson and a sister Deborah Jackson. A private committal service will be held in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
