Donald R. Peltier Jr.

1960 – 2020

Donald R. Peltier Jr., 60, of Springfield died Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.  Donald was born in Holyoke, grew up in South Hadley, graduating in the class of 1978.  He was the son of Donald R. Peltier Sr. and the late Carol (Cormier) Peltier.    He leaves his wife of 33 years Laurie "Frenchy" (Hinds) Peltier; a daughter Aliya Peltier; his father Donald R. Peltier Sr.; sisters Donna Bergmann and Mary Whitaker; brothers John and his wife Jay, Stephen, and Howard; and over 70 nieces and nephews. He worked many years as a Machinist for the Asten-Johnson-Foils Company.  Don loved fishing, gardening, and most of all cooking.  He will be deeply missed by all and will be forever in our hearts.  A private funeral will be held, and the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
