Donald G. Phaneuf

1937 – 2024

Titusville, FL – Donald G. Phaneuf, 87 died peacefully Sunday morning surrounded by his loving family.  Don was born in Springfield, MA the son of the late Edward and Alice (Rooney) Phaneuf.  He grew up in Springfield and lived in Hampden, MA before moving to Florida.  He was a retired Truck Driver for the Teamster's Local #404 and served in the United States Army Reserves.  His wife Catherine L. (Elsden) Phaneuf died in 2023.  He leaves his daughter Janice Visconti and her husband David and his granddaughter Jordan Visconti.  Besides his wife, Donald was predeceased by a son Matthew and grandson Jake Visconti.  A private service will be held in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard and the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Donations may be made to St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care, 1240 Grumman Place, Titusville, Florida 32780.
