Donald E. Richburg
1946 – 2012

AGAWAM – Donald E. Richburg, 65, of Elm Street died Saturday at home surrounded by his family. Donald was born in Methuen and grew up in West Springfield, graduating from West Springfield High School in 1964. He has lived in Agawam since 1991. He was a retired Route Salesman for the former Standard Uniform Company. A United States Navy Veteran, he served on the U.S.S. Pratt during the Vietnam War. Donald leaves his wife of 42 years Donna (Mazza) Richburg; three sons J.C. of Conyers, GA, Tim and Michael both of West Springfield; a sister Cheryl Brackett and husband Carl of West Springfield; five grandchildren Tori, Dillan, Jacob, Chad and Shane. He also leaves his brother's-in-laws Dominic Mazza and his wife Marie and David Mazza; a niece; three nephews and his cherished dogs Skippy and Sussie. A memorial service will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday at 4:00pm with burial at the convenience of the family. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
