Donald E. Savard, 75, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Holyoke, son of the late Roland and Dorothy (Pysz) Savard, he was a lifelong resident and had attended Dean Vocational High School.  Donald worked for thirty years for Hampden Paper Company before his retirement.  He enjoyed going to the beach, traveling to Florida, playing cards, classic rock, especially AC/DC, and his backyard pool. Don also liked to go on girl scout camping trips with his family. He will be remembered for his booming voice, big smile and kind spirit. He cared deeply for his wife and children and would do anything and sacrificed greatly for them.  Don's family would like to thank the staff at Mt. Marie Health Care for the love and care shown to Don while he was there.  He was predeceased by a brother, Roland "Butch" Savard. He leaves his wife of forty years, Roberta J. (Greguoli) Savard, a son and his wife, Matthew D. and Bethany Savard of Agawam, a daughter and her husband, Erica J. and Andrew Willard of Brandon, FL, a brother, Robert Savard, two sisters, Charlene Allard, Wendy Surprenant all of Florida, two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
