Donna J. (Harper) Pouliot Dingman, 71, of Ellenton, Florida, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 27, 2026 at Manatee Springs Rehab Center, Bradenton, Florida, surrounded by loved ones. Donna was born on May 28, 1954 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Harold and Claire (Granger) Harper. Donna grew up in West Springfield, Massachusetts and was a 1972 graduate of West Springfield High School. While growing up Donna loved the yearly family vacations to a beach in Clinton, Connecticut and the yearly Labor Day (extended) Family Picnics at Look Park in Northampton. She also grew a passion for camping, going to the beach and spending time with her daughter, Carrie (Pouliot) Raymond, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna was known for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering dedication to those she cared about. She worked as a hotel clerk for many years at the former Holiday Inn in Springfield where she met famous musicians, including Elvis Presley. In early 2016, Donna and her husband, Tom, relocated to Anna Maria Island and then Ellenton, Florida. While a resident in Ellenton, Donna loved volunteering her services for functions held at the Colony Cove Community Center, as well participated in dances, bingo games, playing cards and even went on cruises. Besides her husband, Donna leaves behind her daughter Carrie (Brett) Raymond, her sisters, Janice  and her husband Ted Paquette and Angela Harper of West Springfield and her twin brothers, Harold and his wife Diane Harper of West Springfield and James and his wife Donna Harper, as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will carry forward their memory with love and gratitude. Calling hours are Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10am-12noon at Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield followed by a Funeral Home Service at noon. The burial is private.
