Dorothy L. (Fournier) Boire, 99, entered into rest on Thursday, August 10, 2023.  Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ovelina (Bousquet) Fournier. Dorothy lived in West Springfield most of her life and had worked for Friendly's Ice Cream Shop in West Springfield.  She moved to Agawam in 2001.  She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield.  Her husband, Joseph P. Boire died in 2006.  She leaves two sons and their wives, Phillip J. and Mary Boire of West Springfield, Robert A. and Dodie Boire of Westfield, a daughter and her husband, Marilyn M. and John Conley of Suffield, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  All services will be private and the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME is in charge.
