Dorothy (Bencivenni) Buoniconti, 82, died Friday evening in Baystate Medical Center.  Dorothy was born in Springfield, one of nine children to the late Joseph and Alice (Marsh) Bencivenni.  She lived in West Springfield most of her life.  She was a retired Supervisor for New England Telephone Company and longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Springfield.  She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Buoniconti.  She leaves a sister Madeline Simpson and several nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers who cared for Dorothy over the years, Rose, Dean, Allie, Jen, Mona and Evelyn.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 4 ^th at 11:00am in St. Thomas Cemetery.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
