Dorothy H. (Lawler) Liquori, 98, died peacefully Monday morning with family by her side. Dorothy was born and raised in Springfield and lived in West Springfield most of her life before moving to Agawam a few years ago. She graduated for the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years retiring from the Jewish Nursing Home. She was a member of the Red Hats Club and the West Side Tappers and was known to visit the casino and play bingo. Her husband Douglas L. Liquori died in 2011. She leaves her children Helen Liquori and her partner June Boston, Jenny Davies and her husband Keith, Anthony Liquori and his wife Kathleen, Angela Collins and her husband Jack and Albert and his wife Lisa. She also leaves her grandchildren Nick, Alex, Celia, Christina, Gianna and Joseph and great grandchildren Jamieson and Mila. Visiting hours will be at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday from 8:30am – 9:30am followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, Feeding Hills at 10:00am with burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
