Dorothy (Koske) Tenczar, 87, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Thomas and Stella (Mozgala) Koske, she was a lifelong resident of South Hadley. Dorothy worked for over twenty years at the former Acme Chain. She was a member of the Polish Home in Ludlow, enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Hawaii and Alaska, trips to Foxwood and attending the Polish dances at Pulaski Park in Three Rivers and the surrounding areas. She was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church. She leaves her husband of sixty-eight years, Henry R. Tenczar, Sr., two sons, Henry R. Tenczar, Jr., Wayne D. Tenczar, a daughter, Linda Tenczar all of South Hadley, a brother, Joseph Koske of South Hadley, a grandson and his wife, David and April Tenczar, and a great-grandchild, Arron Almeda. She was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Koske, Thomas Koske, Charles Koske, two sisters, Claire Hart, Phylis Janek, and a daughter-in-law, Kristine Tenczar. The funeral will be Monday at 9am from the CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb Street with a Mass in St. Theresa's Church at 10. The burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
