Dorothy M. (O'Brien) Wojnicki, 91, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 10, 2023 at home.  Born in West Springfield, daughter of the late William and Bertha (Martin) O'Brien, she graduated from West Springfield High School and lived in Feeding Hills for over sixty years.  Dorothy had worked as a clothes designer for the former Tucker Garments and also worked for the former Raytheon.  She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she was an active parishioner, serving as sacristan and eucharistic minister.  She was an avid reader and gardener. She loved flowers and the musical Camelot.  Family was everything to her, she enjoyed spending time with them.  Her husband, Andrew J. Wojnicki, Sr., died in 2007.  She was predeceased by two brothers, William O'Brien, Jr., John O'Brien, and two sisters, Agnes Byrnes, and Mary Norris.  She leaves a son, Andrew J. Wojnicki, Jr. and his wife, Susan Wojnicki of Bethel, CT, a granddaugther and her husband, Jessica and Alex Rodriguez of Lancaster, PA and nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Friday from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Mass at 10am at Sacred Heart Church. The burial will follow in Springfield Street Cemetery.
