Douglas P. Wells

East Hartford, CT-Douglas P. Wells, 65, died suddenly on April 18, 2014. Doug graduated from West Springfield High School, Franklin Institute of Technology, Springfield Technical Community College and the University of Phoenix, Tucson, AZ. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Doug enjoyed the outdoors, dogs, was generous with his time and led a colorful life. Doug lived for many years with his beloved daughter Katie, son-in-law Marlon and cherished grandson Ackeem. He also leaves his mother Evelyn Wells of West Springfield, his brother Rodney and his sister Ronalyn. He was predeceased by his father Ronald H. Wells. The calling hours will be Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
