Duane A. Renaldi Sr., 91, of the Aldenville Section in Chicopee, passed away on Dec. 13, 2023. He was born in New London, CT to the late Leo and Elida Sophie (Paulson) Renaldi. Duane proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had many jobs throughout his life. His final job was working many years for the USPS before retiring in 1997 as an Electronic Technician. He enjoyed flying and even owned his own plane. Duane also enjoyed using his Ham radio, hunting, gardening and much more. Duane was predeceased by his beloved wife of 69 years Carol (Goodchild) Renaldi in 2020. He was also predeceased by his sons Duane Renaldi Jr., and Dennis and his wife Patricia Renaldi, his brother Norman Renaldi, and his sisters Muriel Muller, Rosalie Burbank, Leona Finley, Lorene Loyd and Sandra Wheelock. Duane leaves his children; Vincent Renaldi, Lawrence and his wife Marilyn Renaldi, Gina Renaldi and Nancy Theriault, 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Home Service will be held WEDNESDAY 12/20/2023 at 1 PM at the CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 109 MAIN ST., W. SPFLD. Burial with military honors will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. A Calling Hour will be held WED from 12 NOON to 1 PM.
