Edmund E. "Ed" Scully, 90, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 18, 2022.  Born in Springfield, the son of the late Nathan and Hazel (Dunbar) Scully, he lived in Springfield and West Springfield, and moved to Agawam in 2002. Ed worked as a foreman and  consultant for thirty-five years at Monsanto, retiring in 1988.  He enjoyed sailing and playing tennis.  He was predeceased by his wife, Cecile (Dube) Scully, a son, Thomas Scully, a daughter, Marianne Basile, two brothers, Robert Scully, Richard Scully, and a sister, Margaret Marquette.  He leaves two daughters and their husbands, Colleen and Nick Korniotes of Marston Mills, MA, Nora K. and Allen Henchey of West Springfield as well as their mother, his first wife, Margaret (Symington) Mullen of Suffield, two sisters, Janet and (John)Green of Enfield, Marilyn Drumm of West Springfield, fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be Saturday, February 26,2022 at the West Springfield Curran Jones, 109 Main Street , with calling hours from 10-11:30am and service at 11:30am .  The burial will be private.
