FEEDING HILLS – Edmund W. Nowik, 61, died Tuesday at St. Luke's Rest Home in Springfield. Edmund was born in Zodzie, Poland and has lived in Agawam for the past 20 years. He owned and operated his own farm while in Poland and served in the Polish Army. He leaves three children Arthur, Kasia and Urszula Nowik; a grandson Lucas Nowik; his mother Leona (Wilamowski) Nowik; a sister Helena Rutkowski and her husband Stanislaw and his former wife Bogumila (Pisanko) Nowik. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday, June 3rd at 10:00am with Liturgy in Our Lady of the Rosary Church at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
