Obituary

Edward Driscoll, 99, passed peacefully surrounded by family Thursday, April 29th. Edward was born in Springfield, to the late William P. and Anna (Regnault) Driscoll. Ed worked as a Bricklayer and was recognized for 75 years of membership in the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. Edward was a veteran of WWII, and honorably discharged from the U.S Coast Guard. He was a parishioner of Saint Thomas Church in W. Springfield and a member of the Elks Club. A younger Edward liked to Hunt, fish and travel. Edward was a true gentleman and beloved family man.  Family was the most important thing to Edward. He leaves behind his loving wife of 73 years, Shirley (Parker); his daughter, Cynthia Miller; a son, Timothy and his partner Lisa Camossi; sister, Anna Pugliano and her husband Frank; granddaughter, Autumn Delaney and her husband Jake; grandson, Christopher Driscoll; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Edward is predeceased by his daughter, Sherran Driscoll; brother, William, and sister Catherine Stevenson. A funeral service will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones on Wednesday at 11 am.  A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be private.
