Edward J. Hills Jr, 74, passed away Nov 5th surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept. 29, 1949 to the late Edward and Mildred Hills. Ed grew up in West Springfield, served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Ed retired from Western Mass Dialysis Center as an Equipment Technician. He enjoyed many hobbies; assembling and programming computers,aquariums,and video gaming, with the grandchildren and friends. Most of all he enjoyed vacationing with his family. Ed leaves his wife Linda (Clow) Hills, his daughters, Jennifer Rivers and her husband Jeffrey, Jessica Rodrigues and her husband Ilidio, Jamie Hills and friend David Ryan, his six wonderful grandchildren, along with David's two daughters, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sisters. Calling Hours will be held for Ed on Monday Nov. 20th from 4 to 6 pm with a Memorial Service starting at 5:30 pm at the CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 109 Main Street West Springfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
