Edward "Pat" P. Riordan III, 57, passed away Sat October 4, 2025. He was born on March 26, 1968 to Mary (Griffin) Riordan and the late Edward P. Riordan Jr. Pat worked for 22 years as a gas technician for Westfield Gas & Electric. He was an extremely hardworking and selfless man. Pat was a member of the Pioneer Valley Sportsmen's Club and enjoyed playing pool with his friends. He loved the outdoors, including fishing, kayaking, target shooting, gardening, playing ice hockey and camping on the beach in Rhode Island. Pat also enjoyed animals, bird watching, building aquariums and working on vehicles with his son. Above all, he loved spending time with his wife and their family. He was always joking and goofing around. It was a big part of who he was. Teasing his grandchildren was one of his favorite grandpa activities. Besides his mother, he leaves his wife and best friend of 36 years, Maureen (Howard), his children; Colleen Riordan and Kelly Riordan, both of W. Spfld., and Brian Riordan and his wife Deanna of Agawam, his grandchildren; Fallyn, Padraig, Declan, Sophie and Hannah, his sister Bridget Riordan and her son Collin Constable along with many family members in the Howard family. Calling Hours will be held Wed Oct 15th from 5 to 7 PM in the CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 109 MAIN ST., W. SPFLD. All other services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
