Eileenmari
Leclerc
September 23, 1964 – April 18, 2021
Eileenmari Leclerc passed away on Saturday after several years of illness. Born September 23, 1964 she grew up in Chicopee after her parents Francis J. Rice and Elizabeth Rice (Mulvahill) relocated from Holyoke, MA. Eileenmari attended St. Patrick's Elementary School, and then Holyoke Catholic Highschool (Class of 82). She attended College of Our Lady of the Elms and then later graduated from Westfield State University looking to begin a career in teaching so she could spend more time with her children. Eileenmari is survived by her best friend, and loving husband of 29 years, Dean M. Leclerc. She leaves three children: daughter Erinn Elizabeth Joughin and husband Dan of Foxborough, MA with grandson Matthew Joseph; daughter Mari Catherine Leclerc of Abington, PA and son Jeffrey Rice Leclerc of St.Petersburg, FL. Eileenmari and Dean were either at a dance recital, lacrosse match, soccer game, baseball game, golf match or whatever activity the family wanted. Family vacations at the beach were some of her favorite times. She would curl up with a good book and just watch the kids with all the nieces, nephews aunts, and uncles she could round up. Eileenmari loved everything Holyoke, Irish, St. Patrick's Parade, dogs of all breeds and sizes, and her good friends across the pond in Scotland. The only words fitting her shortened life are: May the road rise up to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, May the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND. Funeral Services and celebration of Eileenmari's life will be announced and held at a later date. The Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
